UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM
Why Do People Become Homeless?
Homelessness is a temporary circumstance, not a permanent condition. It rarely begins with the loss of housing. It begins with brokenness. Unhealed trauma, fractured relationships, untreated mental health challenges, or financial burdens too heavy to bear can slowly erode a person’s stability. When the loss of stability, community, and a sense of purpose takes hold, the emotional overload takes root.
